“In the past two months, we’ve had seven trucks stolen from the Wallaceburg-area,” says Constable Renee Cowell, adding about half of the vehicles were unlocked at the time. “It appears GMC trucks are being targeted as four of them have been stolen as compared to two Chevrolets and one Dodge. So far, officers have tracked down and recovered four of the seven trucks that were stolen, but they’re still working to determine if there are any patterns or common links. “One was recovered in Windsor, one was recovered in London, and one was recovered on Walpole Island.
