I purchased this car at 70k miles in December of '16 and have put about 37k on it during my four years of ownership. Recent service includes a new clutch master cylinder, a new Magnaflow OE-grade (50 state) catalytic converter, new downstream O2 sensor, valve lash adjustment at 105k miles (Spark plugs replaced upon purchase, and so didn’t do them during 105k service), new valve cover and spark plug well gaskets, near rear lower ball joint boots, new front brake rotors, new front brake pads, differential fluid change, transmission fluid change, brake fluid change (Motul RBF600), and an oil and filter change.  All oil changes were done within the severe service interval and all other fluids were changed annually for track duty.  This car has a clear Indiana title in my name.

Body/Chassis

The car is Silverstone Metallic with a black convertible top.  The top is in excellent shape, having been garaged.  There are no tears and the straps have been replaced.  The rear window is in excellent condition and simply requires cleaning from time to time with Meguiars PlastX or something similar.  I had the front bumper professionally repainted and clear-brad.  Normal rock chips, consistent with its status as my daily driver, are present on the hood, fenders and one side mirror.  The passenger side pinch weld shows some bending from an improper lift point but the body is undamaged.  The headlights are consistent with 20 year old plastic and can easily be refinished with a 3M restoration kit and a bit of patience on a Saturday afternoon.

I’ve fixed several common S2000 body-related issues including resealing the trunk vent, completing the axle nut torque TSB.

I mounted a Curt 1.25 inch receiver to the car, great for towing spare tires to a track or attaching a bike rack. The car also features a professionally installed  hard dog roll...
