Head to head: Honda Accord Sport Hybrid v Toyota Camry Atara SL Hybrid - Drive
Honda Accord Sport Hybrid: From $58,990 plus on-road costs. Toyota Camry Atara SL Hybrid: From $40,440 plus on-road costs. Value Honda: Honda has ambitiously priced its flagship Accord into luxury car territory by loading it with kit. The Sport Hybrid features 18-inch wheels, sat nav, a multi-angle reversing camera, leather trim, a comprehensive suite of driver aids including active cruise control and lane keeping assistance, a sunroof, leather trim, LED headlamps and more. Toyota: Arriving at least $18,000 cheaper than the Honda, Toyota's top-end Camry features 17-inch wheels, leather trim, sat nav, a rear camera, lane departure warning and automated emergency braking systems and active cruise control. While it is the most advanced Camry yet, the Toyota's driver aids aren't quite as comprehensive as the Honda's. Inside Honda: Immediately the more modern proposition, the Honda features twinned 5. 8-inch and 8. 0-inch displays that work in concert with LCD elements in the instrument cluster. The Accord's infotainment suite features digital radio, a music hard drive and easy connectivity. The Camry's Optitron blue-lit instruments remain clear and informative, but its single 8. 0-inch touchscreen and basic interior layout are less impressive than the Honda's driver-focused.
