Norristown man convicted in Sunoco robbery - The Times Herald
Andrew Lamar Cooper, 26, of the 100 block of Wayne Avenue, was convicted of aggravated assault, robbery, possession of an instrument of crime and criminal conspiracy in connection with the April 30, 2014 robbery. Cooper will be sentenced following a presentencing investigation that will go over his personal and criminal background. Online court records show Cooper has a criminal history in Montgomery County dating back to 2007, when he was arrested in Norristown for possession of marijuana. In 2008 he was arrested for robbery in Norristown and convicted and sentenced to 3 ½ to seven years in prison for the robbery in 2009. He was additionally sentenced to five years or probation for the 2008 robbery. An investigation began on April 30, 2014, at 3:45 a. m. for a report of the robbery at the Sunoco on the first block of East Germantown Pike. Source: www.timesherald.com
