Williams Street said his girlfriend paid her son’s motorcycle payment with $500 from his checking account, without permission. 2: A man said he believes his ex-wife has been going in his house when he’s not home and stealing groceries. 2: An officer stopped a vehicle on Ga. 21 for a burned-out headlight. The man’s wife was in the vehicle, but had taken medication and couldn’t drive. 2: A man said a vehicle swerved in front of him on W. Ninth Street, causing him to strike a culvert and get a flat tire. As he was changing the tire, the same vehicle pulled over beside him and two men got out and stole his watch from the center console. 2: An officer stopped a vehicle on Ga. 21 for having no insurance. 2: An officer conducting speed enforcement on Ga. 21 stopped a vehicle for going 52 mph in a 35 mph zone. The driver was cited for speeding, no insurance and suspended tag and the vehicle was towed. 3: Walmart’s loss prevention officers wanted a criminal trespass warning against two men they believe have stolen from their stores in the past.
