Truck strikes Jeep on I-90 near Cle Elum - Yakima Herald-Republic

CLE ELUM — A Lake Stevens driver escaped injury after the vehicle she was driving was rear-ended early Tuesday by a tanker rig on Interstate 90, according to the Washington State Patrol. Troopers say they suspect that intoxicants contributed to the crash, which sent the semi driver to KVH Hospital in Ellensburg. The hospital, however, said it had no records of the truck driver. Passenger in June crash involving cement truck faces auto theft, drug charges - Longmont Times-Call

Joseph Matthew Pulley is charged with aggravated motor vehicle theft and possession of a controlled substance. Longmont police arrested Pulley, 33, on suspicion of an unrelated protection order violation on Aug. Police say Pulley and Marcus Sommers were southbound on U. S. 287 early on the morning of June 1 when the Jeep they were in collided with a semitrailer hauling 25 tons of cement that was eastbound on Colo. An arrest warrant affidavit alleges that Pulley and Sommers also had attempted to return stolen goods at a Thornton grocery store and lifted tools and documents from cars as far away as Arvada. Police believe Sommers had been driving the Jeep, which had been reported stolen from Denver. Police believe the Jeep's owner left a keyless starter device inside the vehicle. Pulley has prior convictions for trespassing, criminal possession of identification documents, possession of a controlled substance, theft and assault, court records show. He also has arrests on suspicion of forgery, possession of a controlled substance, driving under restraint, theft, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving without a license and obstruction of a telephone, and on a protection order violation.
