A New Ipswich man has been charged with negligent homicide and reckless conduct with a deadly weapon in connection with a 2014 vehicular accident that killed a Jaffrey man. Calistro, 70, was indicted on July 23 according to documents filed with the Cheshire County Superior Court. The two charges stem from a July 23, 2014 motor vehicle accident that claimed the life of Frederick W. Hammann, 43, of New Ipswich. Hammann was driving westbound on Route 124 at approximately 3:47 p. m. on his 1998 Harley Davidson motorcycle when he was struck from behind by a 2001 Ford F-150 driven by Calistro.
