Police reported the tractor-trailer driver was traveling in the right northbound lane when the rig moved into the left lane and struck a tan Pontiac Sunfire operated by Donna K. Hummel, 59, of Freeburg, who escaped injury. Police said the tractor-trailer driver fled the scene. The rig is a white truck with a white trailer and has damage to its driver's side trailer area. The six-speed manual gearbox — the only gearbox available for both the GT350 and GT350R — is direct and precise, if a tad notchy. Up to speed and the steering rack is quicker than a base GT. my initial feelings determining it was too fast — you touch the wheel and the car darts, like holding a caffeinated frog. And just like in the Mustang GT, the electric steering in the GT350 has wonderful feedback. The most notable change with the GT350 arrives in the form of a 5. 2-liter flat-plane crank V-8, sporting a redline of 8,250 rpm. Flat-plane cranks are common among race cars, and Ferrari use it in all its production V-8s. But by evenly spacing the crank pins at 180-degree intervals versus the rods connecting to the crankshaft at 90-degree intervals, it often produces a... In the GT350, it isn’t as smooth as your typical V-8, but then it produces a unique exhaust note that sounds truly menacing — like a cross between a Hellcat, a Ferrari, an F-Type , and a grizzly bear. For the last few years, drivers of most new cars have been able to speak to their phones and have audio stream through a car's speakers using the nearly ubiquitous Bluetooth wireless standard. Phones need to be plugged into the USB port, where the phone is kept charging and powering the in-car entertainment. You can access maps, voicemail, phone contacts and music apps using a touch screen embedded in the dashboard — no need to grab your phone. The 2016 Honda Accord EX with manual transmission is the lowest trim on which Honda is offering CarPlay and Android Auto support. Volkswagen's entry level 2016 Jetta 1. 4T at $17,680 offers CarPlay and Android Auto as part of a $995 technology upgrade that includes a larger touch screen and rearview camera. General Motors stands alone in offering CarPlay and Android Auto as standard equipment on cars as inexpensive as the Spark — the 2015 version retails for upward of $12,170 — and as high-volume as its Chevrolet Cruze and Malibu sedans and Silverado...
