Some film themselves playing video games, others give makeup advice and a select few talk about cars. People like Shmee150 from England or Saabkyle04 and SubaruWRXfan from America - to name but a few. However, Paul from Supercars of London seems to be earning the most money. After a few years chasing Ferraris and Lambos around London, Paul rose to fame when he purchased a second-hand Audi R8. It was a basic model with a V8, manual gearbox and some mechanical problems, but it proved you could buy a supercar with money... After that, car companies took notice of Paul's channel and invited him to many test events. Some of them even lent a few of their most powerful toys. It's a Gallardo, of which Lamborghini made thousands, but it's a rather rare special edition. Paul says the majority were painted white, like his, but even at 150 examples, we're talking about a serious exotic. Proposée avec une excellente boîte mécanique à 6 rapports en H ou avec une transmission robotisée R tronic, la R8 va se muer en Spyder en décembre 2010 (430 ch). Afin de chasser... Une équation payante reconduite en janvier 2012 sur le Spyder GT. Si vous avez loupé lun de ces collectors, le constructeur souabe a proposé, à loccasion du léger restylage effectué en décembre 2012 (phares, feux et boucliers), une bien-nommée... Allégée de 50 kg par rapport à la V10 normale de 525 ch, la V10 plus délivre 550 ch, et troque sa boîte R tronic pour une S tronic à double embrayage (et 7 rapports), plus douce et plus réactive. Dernier acte, en juin 2014 : la présentation de la R8 LMX de 570 ch, dotée de phares laser et limitée à 99 exemplaires pour le monde. Le numéro de châssis (qui doit bien sûr correspondre à celui indiqué sur la carte grise), est présent sur un autocollant constructeur, collé en bas de lembrasure de la portière, côté conducteur ou passager.
