  I know in 2009-2010 they have the sport package. Most people got it for the 5 spoke rims. Those were really nice but also added a firmer suspension. I am not sure what happened in 2011-2012. The window stickers I have seen does not say "sport package"

Suspension and Steering Differences in Regular V8 Vantage - Pistonheads.com

I am looking at a regular V8 Vantage years 2010+. Not the S or the V12 but the regular V8 Vantage in a 6 speed manual. I am trying to understand what is the difference in the suspension and steering on the 2012. 25 + vs the pre 2012. 25 models. I read that made the steering ratio better in the 2012. 25 + models, causing the steering to be more responsive, but also heavier. I test drove a 2011 model today and it didn't feel loose to me. It was responsive but I am not sure about the 2012. 25 model. People swear that the 2012. 25 steering is SO MUCH better than the older ones, but for normal driving, is it worth the extra money to get the newer models. I am not sure what happened in 2011-2012. The window stickers I have seen does not say "sport package" or "sport suspension" so did they get rid of the sport suspension in the 2011-2012 models. Can someone confirm that starting in 2012. 25+ all the V8 Vantage got the sport suspension as standard and thus regular suspension was no longer offered. I'd like to hear people's opinions on comfort vs sport suspension. But it seems like all the ones I am looking at doesn't specify "sport suspension" or "regular suspension". Steering - in essence the more direct steering makes you feel more connected with the car as turn-in is sharper and direction changes are quicker. Source: www.pistonheads.com

Aston Martin’s V-8 Vantage is the company's least expensive car, but it looks a lot like its V-12–engined big brothers, the DB9 and the DBS. Although only car nerds can distinguish which current Aston is which, the Vantage's short overhangs, taut lines, and absence of gratuitous scoops and fins make it the best-looking of the bunch. To start the car, the stainless steel and glass key, which Aston calls an "Emotion Control Unit," slides dramatically into the middle of the dash. When we tested the Vantage on its debut in 2006, it won a comparison test against the Porsche 911. But a year later, it lost to the Porsche 911 Turbo and Audi R8 because it was too soft and too slow. Although we'd have to get all the cars together again to determine if the results would change, both issues have been addressed as part of a series of improvements that debuted for 2008.
