This is how the Jaguar designers intended the car to look but this headlight configuration was never offered in the US- what a shame!!. Now get the great look and superior night time lighting of the European XJ models for your Jag!
Owners of 1970-1987 XJ6 XJ6C XJ12 and XJ12C (Series 1-2-3) cars can now upgrade to the much more stylish and better lighting of 7”outer headlights. Jaguar Specialties is proud to again offer this kit featuring our exclusive reproduction cast metal and chrome plated 7” trim rings. These are exactly like the Jaguar originals (including the screened upper fresh air opening) and are made by and available only from Jaguar Specialties. The attached pics show a standard US spec XJ6 car (white) vs. same year XJ6 with the European headlight conversion (gold)- what a difference !!! In the 3rd pic you can also see a comparison of an original Jaguar trim ring (left) and our repro ring (right)- they are identical, although our new casting is a far superior metal compared to original. The last pic is of our actual casting mold from the foundry where the rings are made only for us- this is the real deal!!!
