I hope they are not talking about a chain driven power transfer system. Particularly like the weight reduction – 190kg is a fair weight loss. The lazy blanking plate in the rear passenger window that allows the window to be shorter so that it can be wound down is most un-Jaguar. What’s happened to Jaguar. The XE looked like a com-gen car with all the other compact execs thrown in to a computer, and what came out is an average of the others. Then for the XF they said OK Computer come out with something for the next size up, so it spat out a car which was the same, but sized up 7%. Then they thought “oh no, it looks just the same as the XE. I know lets put in an extra side window so... And Golfschwein that glasshouse looks to me closest to the UK built mid 90’s Honda Accord aka Ascot Innova. On a US website it says the weight reduction is 132lbs for the petrol V6’s (no diesels for them) and 265lbs for the AWD version. Maybe the weight reduction is more for the 4cyl Ingenium engined cars over the old Ford ones. In diesel form they are no more powerful than the old ones, which was 147kW.
