According to Automotive News , the 2017 Chrysler Town & Country will feature an upgraded 3. 6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine mated to a new nine-speed automatic transmission. An all-wheel-drive model with an electrically powered rear axle is on the docket, as is a new plug-in hybrid model. A concept version of the model first debuted at the 2012 Detroit auto show, featuring some unusual design elements. We recently spotted what looked like a Chrysler Town & Country prototype , sporting a more conventional shape. The 2017 Chrysler Town & Country goes into production in February at FCA's Windsor Assembly Plant in Canada.
