Présenté sous la forme d'un concept-car lors du Salon de Genève 2012, le Range Rover Evoque . Cabriolet avait passé la vitesse supérieure en mars dernier via une vidéo de présentation où il était possible d’observer le futur monstre de Land Rover sous camouflage. Toujours dissimulé sons un camouflage qui ne laisse paraître que peu d'éléments de sa ligne esthétique, hormis un changement de signature lumineuse que nous avons pu apercevoir l'hiver dernier, le futur monstre de Land Rover devrait retrouver sous... Ainsi, le quatre cylindres de 2,0 litres pourrait ouvrir la gamme diesel tandis que le bloc 2,0 l turbo de 240 chevaux pour 340 Nm de couple devrait être de la partie en essence. Présent au Salon de Genève 2016. Reste à savoir quand ce Range Rover Cabriolet sera révélé. Pour rappel, Land Rover envisage une commercialisation dans le courant de l'année 2016 et il se pourrait bien que le nouveau « joujou » du constructeur britannique soit présenté lors du prochain Salon de Genève. 2017 Chrysler Town & Country Has Foot-Activated Doors, Nine-Speed Auto - Motor Trend

According to Automotive News , the 2017 Chrysler Town & Country will feature an upgraded 3. 6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine mated to a new nine-speed automatic transmission. An all-wheel-drive model with an electrically powered rear axle is on the docket, as is a new plug-in hybrid model. After the standard model arrives in 2016, the plug-in version will debut later in the year with an expected 75-mpge rating. Drivers will be able to open the Town & Country's doors and the rear liftgate with the swipe of a foot underneath a sensor below the doors. A concept version of the model first debuted at the 2012 Detroit auto show, featuring some unusual design elements. We recently spotted what looked like a Chrysler Town & Country prototype , sporting a more conventional shape. The 2017 Chrysler Town & Country goes into production in February at FCA's Windsor Assembly Plant in Canada. Quand l'Evoque a été ajouté à la gamme Range Rover de Land Rover en 2011 (année-modèle 2012), la création a pris par surprise le segment. C'est que l'Evoque semble si loin de l'image que s'est construite le constructeur anglais avec ses gros VUS au faste très assumé et à moteurs V8. Il y a néanmoins beaucoup de luxe dans ce petit véhicule. L'Evoque est certainement l'un des plus beaux utilitaires compacts de luxe. Il a une identité esthétique qui lui est propre, chose qui est rare dans ce monde de consensus qu'est l'industrie automobile. Anguleux, mais pas trop, il affiche une ligne de toit basse qui s'unit avec la ceinture de caisse haute et légèrement ascendante vers l'arrière. Il a beau être la porte d'entrée de la prestigieuse marque, ce Range Rover n'est pas pour autant dépourvu de luxe. La livrée Prestige, qui fait l'objet de cet essai, a autant la planche de bord que les panneaux des portières tapissés de cuir de très belle facture. Le dessin est dans l'ensemble simple et épuré et la nacelle de commandes suspendue inclinée rend les commandes facilement accessibles. L'Evoque se contente d'un seul moteur, un quatre-cylindres de 2 L d'origine Ford. La conduite en ville montre un bon souffle à bas régime, mais les reprises sont plutôt engourdies, tout comme les accélérations. Source: auto.lapresse.ca
