Man killed, 6 children injured in head-on collision on I-440 in Nashville - WKRN.com

(WKRN) – A man was killed in a two-car crash on Interstate 440 near Interstate 65 in Nashville Wednesday afternoon. The man killed was identified as 49-year-old Hussain Al-Sarhan of Darlene Drive. Al-Sarhan was the driver of a 2002 Oldsmobile Silhouette van that was struck head-on by a 1999 Nissan Pathfinder driven by 22-year-old Adam Cogdal of Murfreesboro. Fatima, 14, Ala, 12, and Wla, 10. The other three children were Al-Sarhan’s nieces. Zeinab, 11, and Zahra, 13, and his nephew, Ali, 9. Zeinab was taken to Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital where she was last listed in stable condition. Ali and Zahra were also last listed in stable condition. The other five children sustained non-life threatening injuries and were also transported to Vanderbilt. Cogdal was transported to Skyline Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. Source: wkrn.com
