Oil Cooler to Oil Filter Adapter Seal & Oil Filter Adaptor to Block Gasket - 2 piece Set - Ships Fast!
Product Description: This listing is for a brand new, 2-piece seal and gasket set for the oil cooler and oil filter adapter for various Volkswagen 4-cylinder (and Audi A4 1.8) applications as listed in the compatibility guide. The black rubber seal is manufactured by Victor-Reinz (OEM), and the green paper gasket is made by Elwis, an OEM manufacturer. The specially-molded, oil-resistant o-ring seal fits between the oil cooler and the oil filter adapter, and the green paper gasket fits between the oil filter adapter and the engine block. Packaged in a plain clear ziplock bag. Order by 3:00PM Pacific time, and this ships out the same day!

Specifications: The seal measurements are 70mm OD, 59mm ID, and 5mm thick. The distance between the two perforated tabs is 55mm.
Tech Notes: If you see an oil leak from the oil filter adapter / oil cooler area, this is a likely culprit. Over time, the rubber seal becomes flattened, hard, and brittle, giving rise to oil leaks. Gasket sealant (like RTV silicone) should NOT be used when installing the new oil cooler seal and gasket. All surfaces should be clean and free of debris prior to installing a new gasket.
