Ron Jacobs and his wife, Donna, of Cypress are the proud owners of this 1954 Ford F100 truck, which they have had for 12 years. "The truck is 95 percent stock," says Jacobs, who is part of the Ford F100 club and can often be seen with the vehicle and local car shows. Under the hood of is a 223-cubic-inch six cylinder engine with Ford-O-Matic three-speed transmission. What's more this vehicle likely never left Southern California, as it was made in Long Beach and shows no sign of rust, Jacobs says. Though when this truck was made it no doubt was meant for work, these days it's all about enjoyment for Ron and Donna, who were high school sweetheart and have been married almost as long as this truck has been in existence.
