Jail population — 43. Fatal Crashes:. Sunday on Interstate 90, at mile marker 179, 13 miles west of Murdo, a 2013 GMC Sierra, driven by Randall Miller, 55, Mount Vernon, S. D. , was traveling west through the construction zone and crashed into a motorcycle ahead of him. The motorcycle collided with a 2000 Ford Expedition ahead of him. The motorcycle driver, Rhonda Denato, 49, Ottumwa, Iowa, was thrown from the vehicle and later died from her injuries. Miller was arrested for driving under the influence and reckless driving. Sunday on I-90, mile marker 71, a 1959 Chevrolet Corvette driven by Archie Smith, 73, Kansas City, Kan. Sunday on Highway 44, at mile marker 120 at Interior, Wade Livermont, 45, of Allen, S.
