The daughter of Chicago, anti-violence activist Andrew Holmes was killed in an apparent drive-by shooting in Indianapolis, Ind. Tamara Sword, a 34-year-old mother of five, was with friends at a gas station when someone pulled up and fired tens of rounds. Holmes had been working a crime scene in Chicago when he learned of his daughter’s death. A police officer assigned to New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio’s detail was shot with a pellet gun outside of Gracie Mansion.
