NEW CHRYSLER Battery Temperature Simulator
Many Chrysler owners complain that the battery temperature sensor in their vehicles prevents the battery from being fully charged. This simulator can be used instead of the sensor to tell the vehicles ECU that the battery is cool, allowing it to charge all the way. They can also be used to trouble shoot and diagnose P1492 and P1493 trouble codes, as they will simulate a normal functioning battery temperature sensor.
These simulators will come with simple installation instruction. They are very easy to use and simply splice into the wires just below the battery temperature sensor plug (on the vehicle side), once the battery temperature sensor has been disconnected. Please see the second picture below for an example of how they install.

COMPATIBILITY:
These simulators are only compatible with Chrysler vehicles with a battery temperature sensor at the bottom of the battery tray. If your vehicle does not have a battery temperature sensor under the battery tray then THIS WILL NOT WORK FOR YOU.
