Bridgeport man brandishes gun at Norwalk birthday party - Thehour.com

Justin Harmon, 28, of 441 Poplar St. in Bridgeport, was arrested on multiple charges related to possession of a firearm and intent to distribute narcotics, according to police documents. Officers from Norwalk Police Department were dispatched to the residence after receiving a complaint from an anonymous female stating that there was a man with a gun inside the home. Police spoke to the person responsible for the home, who said she had been having a birthday party when Harmon entered through a back door, waved a gun at the guests, and went upstairs. Police said they began to clear the house, at which time they encountered Harmon and another man in a bedroom. According to police documents, when Harmon was told to vacate the room, he laughed and stared at them. Both men were detained and searched, at which time Harmon was found to be carrying a small bag of heroin, police said. Harmon does not have a pistol permit, police said. According to an arrest log maintained by Norwalk Police Department, Harmon was charged with possession of less than four ounces marijuana, carrying a gun without a permit, possession of narcotics, illegal possession of narcotics within 1,500 feet...
