First presented by the Ford Motor Company in 2012 at the Commercial Vehicle Show in Birmingham, UK, the mid-sized van sold by the bucket load. Although unconfirmed at the present moment, we hear that the 2016 Ford Transit Custom facelift will employ the same oily bits as before with the same outputs as before (101 PS and 310 Nm. 125 PS and 350 Nm. 154 PS and 385 Nm). The only difference... On the aesthetics front, our photographers caught the most camouflaged Transit van imaginable, but fret not. This prototype shows a sharper front fascia design that comprises of 2015 Ford Transit-inspired grille and air intakes. From the looks of it, the 2016 Ford Transit Custom prototype on hand appears to be a short wheelbase model (4. 97 meters overall length) configured in the so-called Kombi layout.
