BARNEGAT — A trio of suspected car burglars has been charged in connection with the shooting of a Barnegat man who was attacked outside his home early Friday morning, authorities said. The three men parted ways, but investigators say Harmon went to Satorius' North Main Street home and shot him as Satorius went outside around 1 a. m. , Della Fave said. Based on a description of the suspects broadcast by Barnegat police, Stafford police officers stopped a red 1999 Chevrolet Blazer at a Wawa convenience store on Route 9, Della Fave said. During one of the sprees, Harmon found the keys to a Honda Odyssey inside the minivan and used them to steal it, Della Fave said.
