The Tundra that I drove was the Limited CrewMax with an M. S. R. P. of $46,518, including options and freight. Base price of this model is $43,895, and options on it were the TRD off-road package, running boards, bedliner, full width power sliding rear glass, and remote start. The “standard” bed that comes with this CrewMax is 78. 7” long, wheelbase is 145. 7”, length is 228. 9”, width is 79. 9”, height is 75. 8”, and the truck weighs 5,375 lbs. Towing capacity is 10,200 lbs. , but apparently that is a lowball figure because Toyota towed the space shuttle Endeavour across the #405 freeway in California last year with the Tundra – weight of the space orbiter, 292,000 lbs. he 2015 Toyota Tundra continues the changes that began last year with an exterior overhaul, making changes to the interior and switching to V-8 engines in all trim levels. The lineup also includes the SR, SR5 and Limited, and two premium grades — Platinum and the 1794 Edition named for the Texas ranch where the Tundra plant is located. Three cab styles Tundra is available in three cab styles: two-door Regular Cab, four-door Double Cab and the super-sized four door CrewMax. Tundra Regular Cab models come with a long bed (8. 1-foot) configuration. Double Cab models are available in both standard bed (6. 5-foot) or long bed (8. 1-foot) configurations and include Rear Under Seat Tray Storage on the SR5 and Limited grades. Under the hood The Tundra comes standard with the 4. 6-liter i-Force that gets 310 hp at 5,600 rpm and 327 lb. -ft. of peak torque at 3,400 rpm.
