Man deported six times charged in Maricopa accident - TriValley Central

They say Perez and at least two other people fled the scene, but Perez returned a short time later. The 5-year-old boy was airlifted to a hospital with head injury and the 2-year-old girl was transported by ambulance for undisclosed injuries. Sheriff’s officials say Perez showed signs of drug impairment and allegedly admitted to officers that he was smoking marijuana prior to the collision. Drive through Bluff City yard ends with assault on police - Kingsport Times News

A Bluff City man is accused of performing doughnuts on a neighbor's lawn with an SUV — churning up significant sections of grass during the vandalism — then pointing a rifle at responding officers to ignite a struggle. According to records at the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office, deputies contacted Cox after responding to his neighbor's home at approximately 10:40 Monday night. The complainant allegedly spotted Cox arrive in a 1994 Mazda Navajo, immediately followed by Cox, "doing burnouts in his yard. Police visited the nearby home of Cox, with his wife letting them inside to speak with him. A blanket was found hanging between two rooms, with Cox on the side opposite of officers. " After advising Cox not to return to his neighbor's property, the officer exited the room through the blanket, then continued talking with Cox's wife and two other officers on scene. " As officers took cover Cox's wife told him to put the gun away, with police then ordering that he drop his weapon. 22-caliber rifle, with Cox allegedly resisting officers efforts and ignoring their commands.
