Well, here we are again after 12 years and more than a few sets of tires. " That said, our 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ was set up pretty nice with a 5-inch long-arm suspension, 33-inch tires, rear locker, front bumper, Warn winch, and other small upgrades to ensure somewhat problem-free wheeling while on your... Our new vision for the Jeep wasn't anything crazy but just a tad taller and bit bigger. To go bigger, we went from 285/70R17 (33 inches) tires to BFGoodrich 285/75R17 (34 inches) rolling stock, as well as a new Hanson Off-Road front bumper. To accommodate the larger rubber, we swapped out the tired coils and replace them with Rusty's Off-Road 6 1/2 inch springs on all four corners. We went with Rusty's very stout front and rear upper adjustable control arms to ensure minimal pinion angles. The Bushwacker flares came with very detailed instructions that take most of the guesswork out of the project. LOUIS COUNTY, MO (KTVI) - Car thieves have been wreaking havoc at dealerships in South County, St. Louis County Police said Tuesday. Thieves had smashed their way into 4 dealerships and stolen at least eight cars in 11 days. Two cars had already been recovered and one suspect was locked up and charged with tampering after being caught with one of the cars in the city of St. Louis, police said. “When they came in and smashed everything up, they searched for whatever keys they could find, whether it was a trade-in key, a wholesale key. They stole this high-end 2007 Jeep Cherokee and a Lexus. Police recovered the Jeep Cherokee in the City of St. Louis. Thieves also hit the Enterprise sales lot on Lindbergh, police said. Again, 8 cars total were taken from the 4 dealerships, police said. 4 injured in Calvert County Jeep crash - W*USA 9

LEONARD, Md. (WUSA9) -- Four people were injured after a Jeep left the road in Calvert County and crashed into a tree, Calvert County Sheriff's office said. The 1999 Jeep Cherokee ran off the road and hit a tree. The Jeep was going west on Calvert Beach Rd when it did not make a sweeping left turn on the road. Officials say, the Jeep crossed the center line, went into the west bound lane and left the road briefly. The Jeep then went back onto the road and started rotating in a clockwise direction. The Jeep then went across both lanes of the road and left the road on the eastbound side. According to officials, the Jeep struck a tree and continued to rotate around the tree. Makayla Lee Burkman, 18, of Port Republic, Md, who was the driver of the car, was pinned in the Jeep. The other three occupants in the Jeep all had non-life threatening injuries, authorities said. They have been identified as Tyler James Fortney, 19, of St. Leonard, Md. , Catherine Jordan Findley, 18, of Prince Frederick, Md. and Kyle Nicholas Hooper, 18, Prince Frederick, Md.
