SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio — An Akron man is accused of committing four armed robberies in the span of 11 hours. The robberies happened between 9 p. m. Saturday and 7:45 a. m. Sunday in Springfield Township, Akron and Fairlawn. Saturday robbery at a Speedway gas station in the 3000 block of South Arlington Road in Springfield Township robbery was the first incident. Five hours later, Foerg walked up behind a 22-year-old South Euclid man standing in line at the late-night service window at Circle K in the 1600 block of West Market Street in Akron. The South Euclid man then handed over keys to his 2004 Honda Civic and Foerg drove to a Fairlawn Walmart. He approached a cashier about 2:45 a. m. and stole cash and drove away in the Civic, police said. Foerg jumped over the counter and grabbed the cash register which contained $120. He took the register and ran from the store. Akron police spotted the stolen car about 10 a. m. in the 200 block of Merriman Road.
