Motorcyclist, 43, dies in crash with dump truck - KOIN.com

(KOIN) — A 43-year-old Eugene man died Tuesday afternoon in a crash with a dump truck on Hwy 99, authorities said. Around 12:30 p. m. , a dump truck towing a trailer turned from Hwy 99 onto Dillard Road and right into the path of a 2006 Suzuki motorcycle, Oregon State Police said. He was taken to a local hospital where he later died, police said. The dump truck — registered to McKenzie Trucking — was loaded with crushed rock at the time of the crash. The driver, 29-year-old Adam Metteer from Springfield, was not injured in the crash. Source: koin.com
