2016 Dodge Mopar Challenger Drag Pak - Top Speed

The production Drag Pak retains everything Dodge showcased on the Test Vehicle, but this time around it has given us access to more details. The big news here is the availability of a supercharged V-8 in addition to the all-motor Hemi we saw last year. "In the first runs the new Drag Pak ran consistently in the eights (eight-second range) while improving times at the 60-ft. mark and also performing very well in the quarter mile. Updated 07/23/2015: Mopar announced it is now taking orders for the recently announced Dodge Challenger Drag Pak. The model will be limited to only 60 units: 35 with the first-ever supercharged engine from Mopar and 25 with the naturally aspirated 426 Hemi engine. you can buy from a Dodge dealership, it’s no longer the most powerful muscle car to wear this devilish badge. This is where the Hellcat X comes in, a bespoke Challenger that took Dodge’s meanest muscle car up yet another notch. The muscle car is also a tribute to an experimental aircraft prototype built in the 1940s. Based on the iconic F6F Hellcat that ruled the skies in the later stages of World War II, it was dubbed XF6F and introduced supercharger and turbocharger... It was more powerful and faster than the standard 2,000-horsepower fighter it was based on, which is pretty much what the Challenger Hellcat X is in relation to the stock Hellcat. Though it may seem identical to a standard Hellcat, the Hellcat X does include a range of extra features upon closer inspection. Other than that and the "Hellcat X" badges on the front fenders, the beefed-up muscle car seems to be identical to the stock Hellcat. All told, this is one heck of a Hellcat that makes the standard version seem a bit mild, if that’s possible. Interior There’s not much info as to what’s different on the inside, but Dream Giveaway does say there are "Hellcat X" logos embroidered on the front seat backs and floor mats. Ultimate Adventure 2015 Summer Camp Jeep Buildup - Part 2 - Four Wheeler Network

Every year we build a vehicle as the official UA project vehicle. Back in the 1940s the military wanted a vehicle similar to the flatfender MB Jeep that it was using, but a little bigger. They were known as the MLW2, for Military Long Wheelbase version 2. The Ultimate Summer Camp Jeep is what we call the third prototype, MLW3B, for Militaryish Longer Wheelbase version 3B. This is our official buildup vehicle for Ultimate Adventure... In the past we have built new vehicles and old vehicles for the UA, but this is an all-new old vehicle. It is starting as a newer Jeep frame and a built-from-scratch Aqualu aluminum Jeep tub. To motivate the little Jeep, we stole parts from other project vehicles we have had in the stable and stuffed them all together to make a pretty wacky machine. The engine is the Chevy Performance LSA supercharged 6. 2L V-8 we had in the Alabama Army Truck. That truck was getting a transmission swap, but when we hit a few speed bumps we decided to rethink the project and the little Jeep seemed like a better home for the 550 hp.
