Man charged in attempted abuction of Aurora girls - Chicago Daily Herald

An Oswego man has been charged with trying to lure two sixth-grade girls into his car while they walked to school on Aurora's west side last week, according to police and court records. Acacia, 24, of the 300 block of Springbrook Trail, has been charged with felony attempted child abduction in connection with the Aug. Kevin Convey said two 11-year-old girls were walking to school at 7:50 a. m. when a man in a silver 2008 Dodge Avenger pulled up near Linda Court and Best Place. They didn't get in -- they ran away," Convey said. Convey said the girls got a partial license plate and a vehicle description, which led police to arrest Acacia on Monday. Convey said Acacia told police he was trying to be a "Good Samaritan" and give the girls a ride to school, even though he didn't know them. Acacia is free on bond while the charges are pending. Si la Chrysler Sebring devenue Chrysler 200 a survécu, l’Avenger s’est fait damer le pion par la Charger. De plus, une berline de ce format suffit. Et pour être bien sûr de gâcher la sauce, le moteur quatre cylindres de 2,4 L est venu s’ajouter. Le V6 de 2,7 L est paresseux, mais pas trop gourmand tandis que le 3,5 L boit comme un trou. Le quatre cylindres est toujours au catalogue, mais il est couplé à une boîte à six rapports. Mais l’Avenger a collectionné les rappels pendant sa courte carrière. Sans compter des problèmes de finition, particulièrement avant 2011 et le climatiseur. L’Avenger offre un bon format et est peu dispendieuse sur le marché de la voiture d’occasion. Two held in auto-theft probe - Muncie Star Press

Two East Central Indiana men were arrested by Delaware County sheriff’s deputies this week after the stolen car they were traveling in apparently ran out of gas. Christopher William Godsey, 29, Hagerstown, and Mitchell Aaron Buck, 25, New Castle, were apprehended Monday after deputies received reports of two men “knocking on doors asking for gas” near Ind. Each man apparently told police the other had stolen the 2008 Dodge Avenger, from outside a home in the New Castle area. Godsey — preliminarily charged with vehicle theft and resisting law enforcement — was being held in the Delaware County jail on Wednesday under a $7,500 bond. Buck, preliminarily charged with receiving stolen property and resisting law enforcement, was also held under a $7,500 bond. Source: www.thestarpress.com
