Fatal Apple Valley crash kills 2, injures 3 - San Bernardino County Sun

A crash Sunday night at Bear Valley and Deep Creek roads in Apple Valley killed two people and injured three others. The names of the man and woman killed in the crash were not released. Morning motorists had to use side streets or dirt roads to avoid the scene of the crash, which took place just after 10:30 p. m. Sunday, according to San Bernardino County sheriff’s officials. The crash happened when a 1999 Chevrolet Astro van was traveling west on Bear Valley Road, according to a sheriff’s release. According to authorities, the driver of the van turned left in front of the Honda, leading to the violent collision. A man was ejected from the van and pronounced dead at the scene, officials said. As Apple Valley station deputies arrived, a witness told officials a person had run from the crash. Source: www.sbsun.com

It began in late March with reports of residential burglaries in west Natchitoches Parish that targeted everything from guns to a safe containing $2,500 in pennies, according to the release. Still being sought are Sharon Nicole Taylor, 26, of the 400 block of John Banks Road in Robeline and Bronson Dewayne Smith, 36, and Brandi Stewart, aka Brandi Mitchell, 35, both of of 102 Mary St. in Robeline. Stewart is wanted on two counts of simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling, while Taylor and Smith both are wanted on one count of being an accessory after the fact to simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling. Smith and Stewart may be traveling in a blue 1999 Chevrolet Astro van and have ties to the Marthaville and Kisatchie areas in Natchitoches Parish, according to the release.
