Fatal Apple Valley crash kills 2, injures 3 - San Bernardino County Sun
A crash Sunday night at Bear Valley and Deep Creek roads in Apple Valley killed two people and injured three others. The names of the man and woman killed in the crash were not released. Morning motorists had to use side streets or dirt roads to avoid the scene of the crash, which took place just after 10:30 p. m. Sunday, according to San Bernardino County sheriff’s officials. The crash happened when a 1999 Chevrolet Astro van was traveling west on Bear Valley Road, according to a sheriff’s release. According to authorities, the driver of the van turned left in front of the Honda, leading to the violent collision. A man was ejected from the van and pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.
