Mitsubishi foresees a future where emissions-based taxation comes into effect for pick-ups, so the company has worked hard to ensure the new all-aluminium 2. 4-litre turbodiesel in the L200 is as clean as possible. Features include variable valve timing and a variable-geometry turbocharger, and the net result is 173g/km of CO2 in this specification. the next-best rival, the Isuzu D-Max, emits a far higher 192g/km of CO2. . Consumption has also dropped to an impressive average of 42. 8mpg - 4. 1mpg better than the D-Max - while power and torque has climbed slightly compared to the engine found... A hefty slug of low-down torque, the light back axle leading to easy wheelspin in rear-drive mode, and the high-riding, mud-pluggin’ feel are all present and correct. What’ll come as very good news to anyone looking to actually drive it somewhere, however, is that the Mitsubishi’s talents extend far beyond it simply being a bit of rough, rugged short-lived fun. Recuerdo que en el otoño del 2003 Mitsubishi fue una de las primeras marcas en ofrecer una SUV subcompacta, con motor de cuatro cilindros. Se trató de la Outlander, que enamoró al sector femenino y junto con el sedán Lancer fueron el duo que permitió que Mitsu, como se le dice a la marca con estimación, en 2007 alcanzara la cúspide de ventas con 17,666 unidades. Nos comentaba Antonio Vives, responsable de Mitsubishi dentro del grupo Fiat-Chrysler —FCA— que viven momentos de creciente de dos dígitos en los últimos 13 meses y el promedio ronda el 44 por ciento. El año pasado hubo cambios en la Montero Sport, una SUV grande y empezaron el año con el lanzamiento de Mirage, un hatchback subcompacto que tiene cómo principal característica portar un motor de tres cilindros, uno de los vehículos de menor... Hace un par de semanas se renovó la pickup L200, muy llamativa porque la división entre la caja y el habitáculo es curvo, que le da un diseño dinámico y desde hace mucho tiempo es de las pocas camionetas medianas que tienen la opción de dos...
