Previously, Honda showed a concept of the popular vehicle during the New York auto show earlier this year. For the September 16 event, Honda will show only the sedan version of the 2016 Civic. The unveiling of the new Civic will happen just hours after the start of the Frankfurt motor show on the other side of the Atlantic. Honda has scheduled two simultaneous events, one in Detroit and one in Los Angeles. During the Frankfurt motor show, Honda will show the existing models such as Jazz, HR-V, the 2015 Civic, and the new concept, 2&4. While details of the 2016 Honda Civic are basically non-existent, we can expect a sportier look from the popular car. The entry model is expected to feature a 1. 5-liter gasoline engine, producing around 200hp. The higher end model is expected with a 1. 8-liter engine. Honda has also promised a Type R version of the 2016 Civic. The 2016 Honda Civic is expected to hit dealerships by the end of the year.
