F250 Diesel Gas Mileage? - Ford F150 Forum
I get about 15-16mpg (imperial gallon - 4.55L) or in equivalent terms uses about 100L to go 350miles. Mine's from Arizona so odo is miles. Around town these things guzzle diesel!!! Right now it's more expensive than gas by far. Typically 5-10cents/L. Not too bad on the hwy but you gotta keep your foot outta it and stay under 2000rpm for best economy. Inflate the tires to max too. Run mine at 60psi now on 65psi tires. See my other post in the superduty section.
Stay away from the dually (4.10 gears) which eats another 2-3mpg worse... bad gears, more tire friction, and lousy aerodynamics.
I have exactly the truck your looking for... 4x4, CC, SB. But hey... some say they get 25mpg and some say they get 9mpg so it really varies. Basically roll-the-dice to see what kinda truck you get... guzzler or miser.

I was in an accident and the truck was delivered to the Ford dealer for repairs. The driver side front wheel went up over the other car's tire and compressed out the spring and shock along with taking out the steering box and other parts under the truck.

Has an edge CS tuner and truck has been averaging around 18 mpg highway and does better on the freeway. Truck is very solid for the year the front end was done back in January of this year and have had moonlight diesel do most of the work on the truck.
