Late fall is a very good time to do that, by the way. One friend suggested I was going through an extraordinarily late mid-life crisis. My friend owns an all-wheel drive mini-van, and I suggested he was simply experiencing a common case of envy. Do you recall the first car you owned. The Corvair was a ‘60s innovation with a rear engine. It was a rather awkward-looking vehicle, which my girlfriend at the time inexplicably described as “cute. It struck me as cute in the way that a raccoon squashed on a highway looks cute, but then she broke up with me soon after that. The Corvair also was the car that Ralph Nader wrote a book about because it had more safety defects than accessories. My next car was a used Volkswagen Beetle, a fun vehicle that I loved and drove to ruin. It was followed by a Plymouth sedan, a perfect car for a newly married man with a baby on the way. It was followed by a Volkswagen Bus, the kind of bus that everyone over the age of 70 now drives in Vermont. I’m afraid I don’t remember most of the next several cars I purchased, though one of them definitely was a Toyota Corolla back when the Corolla was the smallest and cheapest car Toyota made. New Endeavour Listed on Ford India Website; Likely to be Launched in October 2015 - International Business Times, India Edition

Ahead of the official launch, which is expected in early October, Ford India has listed the new Endeavour as the future SUV on its website. The new Endeavour is a full-sized seven-seater SUV in its third generation, which is globally known as Everest. The third generation Endeavour is based on the Everest Concept showcased in Sydney, Australia in 2013. In its third generation, the Endeavour takes deviation from the typical boxy design of the previous generation and has a more rounded design. The new design has taken cues from the 2015 Ford Edge crossover and hence is more athletic and gives the SUV a fresh face. The spare wheel at the rear has made way inside the vehicle, helping it to shorten the length of the vehicle. The SUV has been developed on a new ladder-on-frame chassis and will also feature new independent coil-spring at the rear wheels. The Ford India website only talks about the 3. 2-litre TDCi diesel without any details on the 2. 2-litre diesel engine. The system has the total of 4 modes (normal mode, snow, grass and mud mode) to suit the various driving terrains. 2015 Ford Endeavour is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 22 to Rs 25 lakh. 2015 Ford F-150 Snow Plow Prep Kit Costs Just $50 - Motor Trend

The snow plow prep kit is made possible due to the use of more high-strength steel in the frame and lightweight aluminum used in the body and cab, according to the automaker. Additionally, the pickup must be an XL, XLT, or Lariat trim equipped with four-wheel drive and the 5. 0-liter V-8 engine. For commercial use, most trucks are 3/4 ton plus, but for lighter personal use I see a lot of half tons with plows that last many years from all makes. If you need an example, my last truck was a 2000 Sierra with about 100,000 miles that had spent it's life as a plow truck. And trust me, my winters far exceed yours on an average basis, despite the amount of snow you've been getting. It's ironic that Ford is pushing (pun intended) the Ecoboost V6 as much as possible in its truck products (observe that the 3. 5L twin turbo V6 has already replaced the V8 in the Expedition), yet despite a mere 20 hp deficit to the 5. 0L V8, this... What a snow job. So no plow with the EB. My vague understanding was the electrical draw was too much on the vehicles with EPAS and that is why the previous F150 was not recommended to plow with (EPAS equipped that is).
