I'd take a four-door sedan over a two-door coupe in a heartbeat (unless it's a sports car and someone else is picking up the tab). A coupe's doors are so big that you're always bumping the door into another car in the parking lot, or into a high curb. Plus, if you're taking more than one passenger, someone gets relegated to the back seat and that person has to climb over the front seat, and never has enough legroom in a coupe. Ford's Fusion sedan is the company's biggest-selling car so far this year. First, the Fusion's front-end styling reminds me of a Jaguar, not a bad car to be compared with when it comes to looks. Although Ford used to own Jaguar a few years ago, Jaguar's on its own now and is making some fine cars, but they cost many thousands of dollars more than the Ford Fusion. Another thing to like about the Fusion is that it is available with all-wheel drive, which is a feature that Seattle drivers like when heading over the Cascade Mountains in February and that you're not going to find in similarly priced foreign... Mileage-wise, the Fusion is rated at 22 miles per gallon in the city and 31 mpg on the highway, and I got about 25 miles per gallon in a test of combined driving. First, when it comes to styling, I'd take the BMW 328i over the Cadillac — and I'd even take the Ford over the BMW. Source: www.bizjournals.com
