  A big tree limb fell on the roof of the '71 after a storm yesterday. The roof frame above the door was heavily damaged, as was the roof sheet metal. I'm not sure how difficult it will be to repair.

Judge orders closure of auto repair shop - Albuquerque Journal

Second District Judge Nan Nash ordered the shutdown of A Reliable Engine Rebuilder earlier this month, the latest development in a lawsuit filed in 2012 by the New Mexico Attorney General’s Office. The suit followed three years’ worth of complaints from consumers about the business at 2317 Edith NE, including claims that the shop and owner Robert “Bobby” Mitchell didn’t honor warranties and charged consumers to fix engines without completing... The AG’s Office couldn’t say this week how many consumers have their vehicles locked up, but the group includes 75-year-old Lawrence Pintor of Albuquerque. Pintor took in his 1971 Ford F-250 last week after the engine — which he’d had rebuilt at the shop last month for $2,335 — started “knocking. “You can drive it, but not very fast or not very far because the engine is knocking,” he said. An injunction also required Mitchell to complete repairs to the engines and, if he did not, to return them — plus any money paid for the repairs — to the consumers within 100 days of taking in the engines, the AG’s Office said. The agency, however, continued to receive complaints, and Mitchell hasn’t made payments toward the original judgment, the AG’s Office said. When Mitchell failed to show up for a recent court hearing, Nash ordered the business locked up.
