Normal SURFACE scratches from 20 years of use
Please DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN the taillight securing nut , that is why everybody damages the the taillight securing tabs or worse the housing
TAIL LIGHT adjustment and lining up is done by adding and subtracting adjustment washers on the four tail light securing studs
KEEP IN MIND MOST USED taillights offered anywhere are 20 years old and not perfect
