New Avengers Jaguar XJ12 C goes up for auction - Classic and Performance Car
The wide-bodied Jaguar XJ12 C, famously piloted by Patrick Macnee as John Steed in The New Avengers TV series, is to go up for auction at H&H’s forthcoming sale on 14 October. The iconic car, in need of some work, is expected to sell for over £10,000. The 1976 XJ12 C was one of Steed’s most iconic companions, staring in the show along side Range Rovers and various other British classics throughout the series. The eighth car to roll off the production line, this 12-cylinder XJC was originally produced by Jaguar as an experimental car, and comes with Heritage certification to confirm so.
