2016 Jaguar XJ revealed - Drive
Jaguar has unveiled an updated version of its XJ flagship . The British car maker's 2016 iteration falls into line with styling versions made to the upcoming XE and mid-range XF , with new exterior lighting headed by full LED headlights, new... The new model will be available in six different grades: Luxury, Premium Luxury, Portfolio, R-Sport (new), XJR and Autobiography (new). Jaguar Australia will release official prices closer to the XJ's November launch, but has revealed the range will start at $199,900 (plus on-road costs). Inside, the new model boasts a new touchscreen infotainment system including an optional 26-speaker, 1300-watt Meridian sound system, and an available rear infotainment system comprising two fold-away high definition screens, digital TV reception... Two versions of Jaguar Land Rover's hero supercharged V8 will be available, in 375kW and 404kW tunes. Jaguar Australia has opted against taking all-wheel drive versions of the XJ, instead choosing rear-wheel drive versions paired with a new All-Surface Progress Control function developed in partnership with Land Rover.
