Sales total more than £900,000 at Classic Car Auctions’ CarFest South auction, raising £25,000 for charity. CCA has totalled more than £900,000 of sales at its CarFest South auction, marking it out as the company’s biggest and most successful sale since the auction house was founded. A number of British classics were strongly contested, from the 1988 Jaguar XJ-S V12 convertible (selling for more than £17,000), to a timewarp Austin Metro VP500, which had covered a mere 741 miles from new (reaching £7700).
