25, 2015 | 9:04 a. m. A pedestrian suffered critical injuries Monday evening after being struck by a car in the east Las Vegas Valley. The incident occurred about 9 p. m. on Owens Avenue between Nellis and Lamb boulevards. Authorities reported that the pedestrian, who has not been identified, was crossing Owens outside of a designated crosswalk when he or she was hit by an eastbound 2009 Jaguar XF.
