Pocomoke crash victim was 'one of the best people' - Delmarva Daily Times
The man who died as the result of a single-vehicle crash on Route 113 on Sunday was a happy, family-oriented person who was in the process of building his girlfriend's son a tree fort, his girlfriend said. "He did everything he possibly could to make anybody laugh," said Renee Bielli, the girlfriend of Kyle Barton Brittingham. They had been together since Brittingham moved to Pocomoke City –– about six weeks, she said. Lifelong friend Leigh Haley, who grew up with Brittingham in Perryville, Maryland, said she couldn't think of anyone who would have something bad to say about him, or any enemies he might have. Brittingham, of Pocomoke City, was 26 when he died as a result of the crash, which took place between Pocomoke City and Snow Hill north of Betheden Church Road at about 8:48 p. m. , Maryland State Police said. A preliminary investigation shows the 2006 Jeep Wrangler that Brittingham was driving traveled onto the shoulder and kept going south, police said. The Jeep went across both travel lanes and into the median, then overturned several times, with the driver being ejected, police said. Police said Brittingham wasn't wearing a seat belt and alcohol is believed to be a factor. Close friend Molly Linton wrote that Brittingham would be happy to know his parents, Patti Barton and David Brittingham, are surrounded by friends and family. Source: www.delmarvanow.com
