Jeep hit, killed black bear on I-75 in Collier - The News-Press
A 59-year-old Maryland man was driving a 2010 Jeep Liberty west on I-75 when a black bear heading south on the north grass shoulder crossed the paved shoulder into the Jeep's path about 2:50 p. m. , according to a Florida Highway Patrol report. The Jeep stopped about 300 feet away from where it hit the bear, which was found on the north paved shoulder of the roadway. Source: www.news-press.com
