Vehicles collide on Leary Road in Albany - The Albany Herald
Tateshea Irvin with the Dougherty County Police, the driver of a black 2007 Jeep Commander turned left from Leary Road onto Old Pretoria Road in front of a white 2009 Dodge Ram driven by Thomas McIntosh, 30, around 7:30 a. m. Friday. The driver of the Ram swerved left to avoid a collision, Irvin said, but the Jeep went left as well, colliding with the driver’s side front panel of the Jeep. Units of the Dougherty County Police Department, Dougherty County EMS and Georgia State Patrol responded to the scene, Irvin said. According to officials, the juvenile driver of the Jeep was charged with failure to yield while turning left and driving on a learner’s permit with no adult in the vehicle.
