Police: Honda stolen as hauler unloaded vehicles at Daytona Beach dealership - WESH Orlando

According to police, a car hauler was unloading vehicles when a young man produced a gun and took a black 2012 Honda Civic. In addition to the Civic, officers are also looking for a white Kia Optima that they believe the suspect was riding in prior to the carjacking. The car hauler, who does not wish to be identified by WESH 2 News, said other drivers like him are becoming regular targets. "Just doing my normal thing that I do every day, picking up and dropping off cars," the driver said. "The car pulled up alongside me, sandwiched me in between both cars, and stuck a gun basically in my face. Passenger guy got out and they took the car," the driver said. As I've always said, I'm not going to lose my life over a car. The man said drivers are getting robbed across the country because the federal government won't allow them to bring guns across state lines. "If truck drivers as a whole are able to carry weapons legally, these brazen acts upon us wouldn't be so brazen. I'm just happy they didn't shoot first and they do what they did," the driver said. WESH 2 News reached out to Daytona Beach police, but so far there is no word on whether they have found the car or made an arrest. Source: www.wesh.com
