Long Branch police say they seized thousands bags of heroin from a Paterson man last week in an arrest that might be Long Branch's largest drug bust in the past 20 years. Christopher "Choice" Schwartz, 43, of Paterson faces numerous charges after police arrested him last week and searched his Kia Optima, Long Branch Public Safety Director Jason Roebuck said in a news release. Inside the Kia, authorities found 5,359 bags of heroin with a street value of more than $40,000, Roebuck said. Schwartz faces multiple charges, including possession of heroin, possession of cocaine, first- and third-degree distribution of heroin, distribution of heroin within 500 feet of a park, distribution within 500 feet of federal housing, and...
