Recall: Land Rover doors can fly open, sunroofs fly off - USA TODAY
They might not sound like problems that can bedevil a high-end luxury vehicle — but they were the subject of two Land Rover recalls on Wednesday. Faulty doors and sinking sunroofs led to two separate recalls involving a total of about 66,000 Land Rovers, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The biggest recall involves 2013 to 2016 Range Rovers and 2014 to 2016 Range Rover Sport models. Land Rover says Range Rover models made between July 26, 2012, to March 9, 2015, and Range Rover Sport models made between Feb. On sunroofs, 492 of the 2012 and 2013 Land Rover models are also being recalled because they can detach or fly out of the car due to poor assembly, according to documents from the National Highway Traffic Safety. Land Rover's LR4 models manufactured between Aug 15, 2012, and Sept. Land Rover owners affected by the recall are encouraged to contact local dealers for immediate fixes. Source: www.usatoday.com
