The 2015 Land Rover Discovery Sport’s mission is simple–to replace and allow us to forget the rather uninteresting LR2, or formerly the Freelander. It’s built on land Rover’s new LR-MS D8 platform, which is a heavily modified version of the original Ford-based EUCD platform that the Freelander rode on. This also means the Discovery Sport retains the usual front-wheel drive and four-thweel... Original 2015 models are being offered with two Ford-sourced turbocharged inline-four models, in both gasoline and diesel form.
